Husband-and-wife team of Greg and Sandy Wells began working in the home care industry in 1999 and eventually founded WELLCARE in 2005. As a nurse in many areas of nursing, Sandy saw firsthand the stress experienced by families in locating reputable care for their parents or other loved ones. She also observed the disheartening mental attitudes of seniors cared for in unfamiliar surroundings.

Greg, an experienced business administration executive, saw how unsettling it was for many of his colleagues who tried to care for parents while pursuing challenging careers. For both Sandy and Greg, their professional backgrounds have given them the experience, compassion, and understanding needed to successfully provide quality home care and healthcare for seniors in the UTC/Golden Triangle and surrounding areas of San Diego.

And now Greg and Sandy have turned over operations of WELLCARE Difference to their son Ben and his wife Erica. So WELLCARE Difference has truly become a family business. Ben, a businessman as well, and Erica, a registered nurse, carry on the legacy of the family operated quality home care that their clients have come to rely on.
